14. prove vt. 證明,證實
How did you prove that he was the thief?
The finger prints on the knife can prove him the murdurer.
[注意] prove 還常用作系動詞,意為“證明是,結果
是”。

reeognisable adj. 可認出的;可識別的
recognition n. 認識,認出;承認
