well和good用法口訣

　　good形容詞，well為副詞，前者修飾名詞，后者修飾動(dòng)詞。well專指“身體好”，用法可相當(dāng)于“fine”，good不能“身體好”。well還可做感嘆，表示強(qiáng)調(diào)和猶豫。二詞用法要牢記，千萬不能弄混淆。

　　1、well的用法

　　一.用作形容詞

　　1.好的 in a good state or position

　　It is well that no one saw you.

　　沒人看到你真好。

　　2.明智的 sensible; a good idea

　　It would be well to start early.

　　早點(diǎn)開始的話是明智的。

　　3.健康的；痊愈的 in good health

　　Please get well soon.

　　請(qǐng)盡快康復(fù)吧。

　　二.用作副詞

　　1.良好地；正常地；令人滿意地 in a good, right or acceptable way

　　Well done!

　　做得好！

　　2.恰當(dāng)?shù)�；合適地，可取地

　　The dress becomes you very well.

　　這件衣服你穿了很合適。

　　3.夸獎(jiǎng)地，稱贊地 satisfactorily with respect to conduct or action

　　They speak well of him.

　　大家對(duì)他贊譽(yù)有加。

　　4.有理由地，恰當(dāng)?shù)?can / could / may / might ~ with good reason

　　This theory lends itself well to our new data.

　　這個(gè)理論恰當(dāng)?shù)剡m用了我們的新數(shù)據(jù)。

　　5.很，相當(dāng) to a great extent or degree

　　This variant is a very space-conservative idiom that is well suited for frequently used

　　options.

　　這種變體是一種節(jié)省空間的習(xí)慣用法，很適合經(jīng)常使用的選項(xiàng)。

　　三.用作名詞

　　1.井，水井 [C] an issue of water from the earth : a pool fed by a spring

　　We have a pump for drawing water from the well.

　　我們用一個(gè)水泵從井里抽水。

　　2.泉；源泉 [C] source, origin

　　Life at the well became normal once again.

　　泉畔的生命又恢復(fù)常態(tài)。

　　四.用作動(dòng)詞

　　涌出，噴出；流出

　　Tears well in her eyes.

　　她的眼中涌出了淚水。

　　2、good的用法

　　一.用作形容詞

　　1.好的；優(yōu)質(zhì)的；符合標(biāo)準(zhǔn)的；可接受的；

　　What good weather we're having!

　　天氣多好��！

　　2.令人愉快的；令人滿意的

　　We had a really good time together.

　　我們一起玩得真痛快。

　　3.合情合理的；有說服力的；有充分根據(jù)的

　　They thought it was a good idea to make some offenders do community service.

　　他們認(rèn)為讓一些違法者去社區(qū)做義工是個(gè)好主意。

　　4.能干的；精通的；嫻熟的；擅長(zhǎng)于…的

　　He is good at managing money matters.

　　他很會(huì)理財(cái)。

　　5.助人為樂的，善良的；好心的

　　Her name is fragrant with good deeds.

　　她因做好事而芳名流傳。

　　二.用作副詞表示“好”

　　How is it going? Pretty good!

　　事情進(jìn)展的如何？非常好！

　　三.用作名詞

　　1.好處；用處；益處 [U]

　　I'm giving you this advice for your own good.

　　我勸你是為你好。

　　2.（復(fù)）goods：商品，貨物

　　Good and inexpensive goods enjoy customers' high praise.

　　價(jià)廉物美的商品，深受顧客歡迎。

　　3.（the good） 有道德的人；高尚的人；好人

　　Christians believe the good will go to heaven when they die.

　　基督教徒相信好人死了進(jìn)天堂。

　　4.合乎道德的行為；正直的行為；善行 [U]

　　Do social workers do a lot of good?

　　社會(huì)工作者的貢獻(xiàn)大嗎？
